Thru the veil that is His flesh

One of my absolute favorite passages in scripture is Hebrews 10.19-25

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Hebrews 10.19-25 NASB

After studying Moses’ Tabernacle, the book of Hebrews became a mainstay in my life. I have always loved the presence of God. My earliest introduction to the manifest presence of God was when I got saved during the Charismatic Renewal. I was quite young, but once I had experienced the tangibleness of God’s presence I was smitten. I couldn’t get enough. When I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the age of twenty three, it felt like I was shot into the stratosphere of the Spirit. Over the course of my life I have sought to live in the presence of God and be led by Holy Spirit. It was this love for God’s presence that drew me to study the Tabernacle, the dwelling place of God.

Over the years I have taught on the Tabernacle. But my absolute favorite approach is thru experience, being taken in by way of the Spirit. I’m not quite sure how to bring that to an online platform. What I do know is that it begins with the basics, the literal physical form, the structure. By laying a foundation of the physical we can then step into the spiritual dimension.

So also it is written: “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING PERSON.” The last Adam was a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. As is the earthy one, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly one, so also are those who are heavenly. Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.

1 Corinthians 15:45–49 NASB

It is my desire that thru the ministry of Living Thru and Beyond you may experience the manifest presence of God, finding redemption and peace for your soul and renewal for your spirit.
